In her 25 odd years as a Personal Assistant, she has supported a couple of managers during this time. The major change between then and now is quite significant. No longer does a PA support one manager in business. It’s becoming expected to be able to support 2 or more, and what’s evident is that PAs need to be able to juggle between departments.

The question here is does this create complexity for PAs to manage more than 1 manager effectively when the administration function is so different between departments?
