We are excited to announce that Nicole Fuller will be presenting a special session on breast cancer awareness on 18 October at 1 PM SA time. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this is a timely and important topic.
Nicole Fuller’s Bio:

- Breast cancer survivor – Diagnosed July 2017.
- Former South African athlete representing SA in Track, Cross-Country, and Road Running. Qualified for the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996 in the women’s marathon.
- Oncology Patient Navigator – Trained through George Washington University, USA, and a member of AONN (Academy of Nurse and Patient Navigators), USA.
- Practical Oncology Patient Navigation training with Prof. Carol-Ann Benn at Helen Joseph Academic Hospital (February 2019 to September 2022).
- Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist through CETI (Cancer Exercise Training Institute), USA.
- Oncology Patient Navigator, Breast Cancer Exercise Advisor, and Brand Ambassador with Machi Filotimo Cancer Project since June 2020.
- Advisor on the Metastatic Cancer Advisory Board at Campaigning for Cancer.
- Independent Oncology Patient Navigator at Helen Joseph Hospital Breast Care Centre since June 22, 2023, offering navigation, support, advice, survivorship care, and counseling.
- Senior Oncology Navigator at Campaigning for Cancer – My Cancer Guide – Lung Navigation Project since June 2024.
